Praia dos Salgados

The piri-piri chicken village, minutes from the western beaches
Guia is an inland village in the Albufeira municipality, famous across the Algarve for its piri-piri chicken. Around it, the countryside opens onto Albufeira's western beaches: Salgados, Galé and Castelo, wider and far quieter than those in the centre.
It makes a practical, good-value base: the A22 motorway and Algarve Shopping are 5 minutes away, Zoomarine 10 minutes, and the sea about a quarter of an hour. Ideal for a villa-with-pool stay that is calm but well connected.
